Junior Kindergarten
Our Junior Kindergarten program opens new doors in language, literacy, math, and science for 4 and 5-year-olds. This program is challenging in an effective manner, but not overwhelming. Children develop their minds and learn more about what makes education so exciting. Some of the objectives to be focused on include:
- Building literacy skills
- Project-based investigations to develop creative and critical-thinking skills
- Gross and fine motor skills activities to build strength and coordination
The Junior Kindergarten classrooms utilizes The Creative Curriculum to create their daily plans and to assess the children development in comparison with widely-held expectations for other children in this age group.
